2 Cars Burglarized In 1 Afternoon At Wheaton Sports Center
Police say burglars smashed the windows of two cars in the parking lot of the sports complex.

WHEATON, IL — Burglars targeted two different cars within minutes of one another at Wheaton Sports Center in late August, according to police. In both cases, car windows were smashed to allow the burglars to gain entry.
The first car was broken into at around 5:36 p.m. on Aug. 31, a police blotter said. The front passenger's side window was shattered and a purse was stolen from the car.
Roughly two minutes later, burglars smashed the rear passenger's side window of another car. Police say nothing was stolen during this second burglary.
