2 Homes Burglarized In 1 Day In Wheaton: Police
Two homes were burglarized via forced entry in Wheaton on Dec. 2, police say.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating two home separate burglaries that took place on the same day. According to police, both the homes were burglarized by forced entry on Dec. 2. The first incident took place in the 1700 block of N. Woodlawn and the second in the 800 block of E. Pinegrove Ct.
Police say burglar(s) forced open the rear door of a home in the 1700 block of N. Woodlawn to gain entry. Once inside, they ransacked most of the rooms in the home. The residents reported that several pieces of jewelry and other valuables were taken. The incident reportedly took place sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The second reported home burglary took place in a similar timeframe: between 2 p.m. and 10:20 p.m., police say. In this burglary, the suspect(s) forced open the rear door of the home and ransacked the interior upon entry. Police say the burglar(s) took jewelry and other items.
