Police say burglars smashed a glass door to gain entry to one of the homes.

WHEATON, IL — Two Wheaton homes were burglarized within days of each other in late July, according to a recent crime blotter. In one incident, burglars smashed a sliding glass door to gain entry to a home, police say.
Home Burglarized in 1000 Block of Dartmouth Drive
Police say someone broke a sliding glass door to gain entry to a home sometime between July 26 and July 28. Nothing was reported stolen.

Home Burglarized in 1300 Block of East Taft Avenue
A resident told police someone forced open the front door of their home. Once inside, they stole computers and jewelry, police say. The burglary took place sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on July 29.
