3 Cars Burglarized, Packages Stolen, More: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Three cars were burglarized, tires were punctured and other crimes were reported on the Wheaton Police Department's crime blotter for the second week of August.
Tires Punctured in 1700 Block of Gloucester Drive
Someone punctured a car's tires and scratched the vehicle's exterior while it was parked in a driveway in the 1700 Block of Gloucester Drive. The car was damaged sometime between 8 p.m. on Aug. 10 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 11.

Three Cars Burglarized at Wheaton Sports Center
Three cars were burglarized while they were parked at Wheaton Sports Center, 1000 W. Prairie Ave. around 9:25 a.m. on Aug. 11. In each instance the window of the vehicle was shattered and a purse was taken from inside the car.

Packages Stolen from Home in 800 Block of S. Wheaton Avenue
A resident reported that packages were stolen from outside of their home's front door. Police say the theft took place around 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 11.
