3 Cars Burglarized, Wallet Stolen In Wheaton: Cops

WHEATON, IL — Three cars were burglarized and a wallet was stolen at Panera Bread, according to the Wheaton Police Department's crime blotter for late October and early November. Two of the car burglaries took place on the same day, just a block away from each other.
Car Burglarized in 400 Block of Wakeman Avenue
Police say a purse was stolen from an unlocked car while it was parked in the 400 block of Wakeman Avenue. The burglary took place sometime between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Car Burglarized in 800 Block of College Avenue
An unlocked car was burglarized while it was in a parking lot the 800 block of College Avenue on Nov. 1. The victim told police a laptop was stolen during the incident, which took place sometime between 12 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Car Burglarized in 900 Block of College Avenue
Police say someone burglarized an unlocked car that was parked in a lot in the 900 block of College Avenue. Cash and a coat with car keys in it were reported stolen during the Nov. 1 burglary, which happened between 6 p.m. and 8:56 p.m.
Wallet Stolen from Customer at Panera Bread
A wallet was stolen from a customer while they were dining at Panera Bread, 167 Danada Square East on Nov. 2 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
