4 Car Burglaries Reported In Wheaton
Coats, purses and other valuable items were reported stolen from the vehicles, which had been left unlocked.
WHEATON, IL — Police in Wheaton are investigating a string of car burglaries that were recently reported. Four cars were burglarized within days of each other, according to a police report. Police say each of the cars had been left unlocked.

1400 block of Stonebridge Circle

A resident told police that someone got into their unlocked car sometime between 5 p.m. on May 10 and 7:40 a.m. on May 11. A bluetooth transmitter, a coffee pot and a set of kitchen knives were reported stolen.
1000 block of East Dawes Avenue

Police say a purse and non-essential medical supplies were stolen from an unlocked car that was parked in a driveway sometime between 12 p.m. on May 12 and 2:30 p.m. on May 13.
1000 block of East Dawes Avenue
Police say a coat was stolen from an unlocked car that was parked in a driveway sometime between 4:58 a.m. and 5:04 a.m. on May 13.
1100 block of East Dawes Avenue
A resident told police that a purse was stolen from their unlocked car while it was parked in the driveway sometime between May 12 and May 14.
