4-Way Stop Installed On Harrison Avenue To Improve Safety
The new four-way stop comes after a recent increase in crashes.
WHEATON, IL — A four-way stop has been installed on Harrison Avenue at the Washington Street intersection amid an uptick in crashes in recent years.
As of Tuesday, traffic must stop in all directions at the intersection. City officials say the four-way stop is a temporary measure as a traffic study will be conducted to consider more long-term solutions to improve safety at Harrison and Washington.
