48 Speeding Tickets Issued By DuPage Co. During Recent Crackdown
The citations were made as part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office recently issued 48 speeding tickets during a holiday crackdown that lasted from Dec. 18 through Jan. 4.
Officers also wrote seven citations for distracted driving, three citations for not wearing seatbelts and 16 citations for other offenses, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office. Three traffic arrests were made and one misdemeanor arrest was made.
The crackdown was part of the statewide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
