$5 Million To Be Given To Park, Fire Protection Districts By DuPage County

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The DuPage County Board recently gave approval to issue close to $5 million in coronavirus relief funds to fire protection and park districts throughout the county.

In total, $1.9 million will aid park districts and $3.1 million will benefit fire protection districts. The funds come via the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). To date, DuPage County has received more than $179 million from ARPA to aid in coronavirus recovery.

The following park districts will benefit from the $1.9 in million relief money:
