WHEATON, IL — Six cars were burglarized and other incidents were reported on the most recent installment of the Wheaton Police Department's crime blotter.
Car Burglarized in 1900 Block of Pinto Court
Police say someone tried to break into a car in the 1900 block of Pinto Court on the evening of May 2. The victim told police someone also tried to take the front license plate from the car.

Four Cars Burglarized in the 1600 Block of Wadsworth Road
Four cars were burglarized in the 1600 block of Wadsworth Road in the early morning of May 3. In the first incident, police say three unidentified people tried to get into two cars that had been parked in the driveway.

A second incident was reported around the same time. In this incident, the victim reported that someone went through two vehicles that had been left unlocked in a driveway.
Car Burglarized in the 2000 Block of Brentwood Lane East
Just before 2 a.m. on May 3, police say three people stole a phone charger and a bus key from a car that was left unlocked in a driveway.
Walgreens Burglarized
According to police, two men filled two big bags with merchandise from the cosmetics section before fleeing.
