WHEATON, IL — Nine cars were burglarized in Wheaton within a week, according to a recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department. This string of car burglaries comes shortly after Altiro Coffee and Subway were burglarized in Wheaton.
Car Burglarized in 200 Block of North Blanchard Street
Someone stole a bag of medical supplies from a car that was parked in a driveway in the 200 block of North Blanchard Street. Police say the burglary took place sometime between 8 p.m. on June 6 and 7 a.m. on June 7.

Four Cars Burglarized at Wheaton Sports Center
Burglars smashed the windows of four cars that were parked at Wheaton Sports Center, 1000 W. Prairie Ave. around 10 a.m. on June 9. Police say purses and personal items were reported stolen from the cars.

Two Cars Burglarized at Atten Park
Police say someone smashed the windows on two cars that were in the lot at Atten Park, 1720 Wiesbrook Drive, sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on June 11. Purses were reported stolen, according to the crime blotter.
Cash Stolen from Two Cars in 1600 Block of Summit Street
Burglars stole cash from two cars that were parked in a driveway in the 1600 block of Summit Street. The incident took place sometime between 10 p.m. on June 11 and 7:54 a.m. on June 12.
