The collaboration of these two talented artists, longtime friends and Old Town School veterans showcases Eric’s award-winning fingerstyle guitar virtuosity blended with Elaine’s expressive vocals. Eric’s original songs were inspired by Elaine’s voice, and the lyrics tell stories that touch on universal themes. The words, the melodies and fine musicianship will linger following this debut performance.
National fingerpicking champion Eric Lugosch is one of the most creative minds of the American acoustic guitar scene. There are no gimmicks or gadgets - just a genuinely gifted imagination and a fluency that comes from years of working on his craft. Eric’s arrangements of traditional songs and jazz standards are now considered classics in picking circles, where he is also regarded as one of America’s best original fingerstyle composers, as well as a talented songwriter. Eric has an elegant, vigorous tone and a twinkling humor while playing, that inevitably peers charmingly through his music. Eric has been at the renowned Old Town School of Folk Music for over twenty years where he is an esteemed educator of both beginner and advanced guitarists. Elaine is a gifted vocalist with an ability to charm any audience. Her exceptional enthusiasm and love of music shine through her stunning vocal interpretations of any style music. She has a warm stage presence with just the perfect amount of humor. Elaine’s performance experience includes folk, country, pop and traditional Irish music at festivals and clubs, as well as private and corporate events. Elaine has been on the teaching staff of the Old Town School of Folk Music since 1987 and enjoys helping those who want to become better players and vocalists.

Acorn Coffeehouse presents concerts at the Burning Bush Art Gallery on a monthly basis, showcasing high caliber artist in an intimate setting.
