David Newman,Executive Director told us that we can not print the names of High price Providers because of legal contracts that insurance co. have with these providers.He said--it is easy to find Low Cost providers,but HI COST providers will give you a RUNAROUND.
In our area--there are 5 Colonoscopy providers. You can easily guess the HI-Price providers.

We spoke to Rep.Tom Price-new HHS designate and forwarded NY Times article,"When hospitals buy doctors,Patients Co pays go up". We also forwarded Modernhealthcare article from July 15th,2015 the effect of monopolies on ER visits in our area.
New HHS designate secretary Tom Price is committed to going after monopolies--as he believes their powers hurts long term costs.He wants to encourage COMPETITION and more Independent Doctors. He had seen Dr.Marty Makary's article on Hospital Monopolies in WSJ--of April 20,2015.
He realized that if these monopolies are not monitored --they will force patients to pay higher prices and result in bigger increases in total healthcare costs and higher premiums for consumers-patients.
