• See Exotic Cars, Classic Coupes, More At Wheaton Concours Car Show (patch.com) — Car lovers in Wheaton can head to Memorial Park on Aug. 22 to see exotic cars, super cars and classic coupes at the free Wheaton Concours Car Show. Families can enjoy DJ music, local food vendors like 302 Wheaton and Little Popcorn Store, while proceeds support Special Olympics Illinois and local car owners can register at the gate if space allows.
   

• National cohort of founders brings community-driven health solutions to scale (heart.org) — A Wheaton-based startup, Ukali Health, has been selected for the American Heart Association's 2026 EmPOWERED to Serve Business Accelerator, spotlighting local innovation in health care analytics and equity. • I'd like to take my granddaughter on an overnight trip to a beach area.
  Someplace that's not more than 2 - 2.5 hours away. She's 13 and likes the beach and the water. Any suggestions? (Nextdoor Emerson)
