Road Closures To Take Effect For Run For The Stars Stars 5K In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Road closures will take effect Saturday morning to accommodate the Run for the STARS 5K.

The following closures will be in effect from around 7 a.m. to around 10:30 a.m.

• Seminary Avenue from Scott Street to Washington Street
• College Avenue from Washington to Howard Street
• Washington Street from Seminary/College to Wesley Street
• Crescent Street from Washington Street to Sumner Street
• Michigan Street from Chase Street to Fischer Street
• Liberty Drive from Washington to Fischer
• Willow Avenue from Washington to Chase
• Illinois Street from Washington to Chase
• Washington Street from Front Street to Illinois Street
• Sumner Street from Liberty to Illinois
• Chase Street from Michigan Street to Illinois Street
• Fischer Street from Liberty to Michigan

Barricades will be in place and drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.

The College Church Run for the STARS 5K helps raise funds to support programming for people living with disabilities who attend College Church.
