WHEATON, IL — An apartment and three cars were burglarized in separate incidents in late June and early July, according to the most recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department. During one of the car burglaries, a gun and cash were reported stolen.

Apartment Burglarized On Sterling Circle

A resident told police a pair of shoes and some accessories were taken when their apartment on Sterling Circle was burglarized sometime between June 29 and July 1.

Gun, Wallet, Cash Stolen In Car Burglary In 1400 Block Of Pembroke Lane

Burglars stole a gun, cash and a wallet from an unlocked car that was parked in a driveway in the 1400 block of Pembroke Lane. The victim told police the incident happened sometime between June 24 and June 26.

Car Burglarized At Orange Theory Fitness

Someone smashed a window to gain entry to a car that was parked in the lot at Orange Theory Fitness, 223 Rice Lake Sq., Wheaton. A wallet was taken during the incident, which took place between 4:58 a.m. and 6:01 a.m. on July 1.

Car Burglarized At Wheaton Park District Community Center

A car window was shattered during a burglary at the Wheaton Park District Community Center just before 5:45 a.m. on July 1. A wallet was reported stolen during the burglary.
