WHEATON, IL — Someone broke into an apartment and defaced it with paint, a wallet was snatched from a purse that was in a cart at Whole Foods and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.
Apartment Burglarized, Defaced with Paint
Someone broke into an apartment in the 1200 block of Briarbrook Drive and threw paint onto the floors, walls and ceiling. The incident happened sometime between Dec. 3 and Dec. 8, according to police.

Wallet Stolen from Purse at Whole Foods
A man stole a wallet that was inside a purse someone had left unattended in a cart at the Whole Foods on Danada Square East. The incident took place at 1:35 p.m. on Dec. 11.

Packages Stolen from Mailroom
Packages were stolen from a mailroom of a building in the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard sometime between Oct. 2 and Dec. 2.
