Assistance for Reflections Framed Project at Wheaton Public Library

The Wheaton Public Library is offering assistance to those who wish to submit a story about a veteran who has touched their life to the Reflections Framed community wide project. Drop in at the Information Desk Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the month of October between 4:30 and 6:00 pm for assistance writing your reflection. Please bring a photograph of your veteran to scan for the project. The first 100 submissions will receive their photograph framed.

The framed photographs will be presented to the those who submitted during a Veteran’s Day celebration on the evening of November 11, 2014 at Clare Woods Academy at 125 E. Seminary, Wheaton, IL, 60187. The short story or explanation of the photo will be printed, laminated, and tucked into a pouch on the back of the frame, with the photo and caption on the front. Those interested may speak at the Veterans Day celebration and read their Reflections. The Reflections will then be showcased throughout Wheaton for a limited time.
