Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on March 21 Lakeshore Recycling Systems suspended bulk garbage/extra item pickup. This measure was put in place to protect the safety of its drivers and prevent further community spread. Bulk/extra items left in the parkway that were not picked up must be removed from the curb.

City Code requires that items can only be placed in the parkway from the night before pickup until the end of garbage pickup day. Please be a good neighbor and remove items that were not picked up due to the suspension of bulk item pickup.

Lakeshore Recycling Systems anticipates that if trends continue as expected with COVID-19 for this region, bulk/extra item pickup may resume in early June.

Thank you for your patience. The City will notify residents when bulk item pickup is reinstated
