Burglar Breaks Through Window Of Home In Wheaton: Cops

Someone broke a window to burglarize a home in the 300 block of Haydn Court in late December, according to Wheaton police.

WHEATON, IL — A burglar broke a window to get into a home in the 300 block of Haydn Court and steal items, according to a recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.

A resident told police they discovered that someone broke a window on their house's first floor to gain entry just before 2 a.m. on Dec. 27. The living room furniture had been "tossed" and items had been pushed off the kitchen counters, the crime blotter said.

Police say purses, "numerous pieces of jewelry" and a Macbook were reported stolen.
