Faculty Artists: Clarinet Trios in Concert

Clarinet Trios in Concert features faculty artists Leonardo Garcia Altino, cello, and Sung Hoon Mo, piano, joined by guest artist Heesoo Kim, Principal Clarinetist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra. The program includes Robert Muczynski’s Time Pieces for clarinet and piano and Giacoma’s Fantasia on “Cavalleria Rusticana.” The evening concludes with Brahms’ darkly romantic Clarinet Trio in A Minor, Op. 114.

Together, these works showcase the expressive depth and rich interplay of the clarinet trio repertoire, offering audiences a thoughtfully curated and compelling musical experience.
