Cantigny Park Donates $11K To Homeless Shelter In Wheaton

The 17th Annual Cantigny 5K Run/Walk raised $11,000 for the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.

WHEATON, IL — Cantigny Park's 2021 5K Run/Walk raised $11,000 on Nov. 6 to benefit the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton.

Funds for the contribution included donations from race participants that totaled more than $3,200. Since 2008, Cantigny Park has raised more than $140,000 for the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.

Founded in 2007, the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans by Bob Adams, a Vietnam War veteran and Dirk Enger, a Gulf War veteran, to aid homeless veterans in and around Wheaton. Click the link to learn more or donate to Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.
