Car Theft, Burglaries Reported In Wheaton: Cops
Police responded to a reported car theft, two car burglaries and one attempted car burglary, according to police reports.
WHEATON, IL — Police in Wheaton are investigating a report of a stolen car, in addition to reports of two car burglaries and one attempted car burglary. The incidents took place between June 14 and June 19, according to a recent police report.
Car Theft
Police say a beige Chevy Malibu was stolen from a parking lot at 278 E. Geneva Rd. sometime between June 14 and June 16.

Car Burglary
A resident in the 1000 block of South Prospect Street told police that someone stole personalized baseball jerseys and pants from their car sometime between 11 p.m. on June 17 and 6 a.m. on June 18.

On June 19, someone broke the lock on a landscaper's trailer in the 2100 block of West Roosevelt Road and stole a Stihl chainsaw. The incident took place sometime between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Attempted Car Burglary
A resident in the 1600 block of Williamsburg Court told police that someone tried to get into their locked car while it was parked in their driveway. The incident took place sometime between June 17 at 8:30 p.m. and June 18 at 8:30 a.m.
