Carol Stream Calls Off Fourth Of July Celebration, Concerts

CAROL STREAM, IL — As the coronavirus crisis continues, the village of Carol Stream has announced that has canceled its annual Fourth of July Celebration and Summer Concert Series for 2020. The village shared the announcement in a Facebook post, saying, "we realize we must protect the true heart of our community, our residents."

Village officials added that "We have listened to the recommendations of our Governor and medical experts and have concluded this is the most responsible course of action." They added that "one of the best ways we can work together to address this terrible challenge is to stay apart."
