Catalytic Converters Stolen, Car Burlgarized: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating two catalytic converter thefts and a car burglary that took place during the second week of September, according to the city's crime blotter.
Catalytic Converter Stolen at Carlton and Liberty
A catalytic converter was stolen from a Mitsubishi Outlander that was parked in a lot near the intersection of Carlton and Liberty. The part was stolen sometime between Aug. 24 and Sept. 9, according to police.

Cars Burglarized in 1100 Block of Windsor Drive
Police say two unlocked cars were burglarized while it was parked in a driveway in the 1100 block of Windsor Drive. An iPad mini, a Nintendo DS and a wallet were reported stolen during the incident which happened sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 and 4:15 a.m. on Sept. 10.

Catalytic Converter Stolen in 1100 Block of Briarbrook Drive
Someone stole a catalytic converter from a Ford Super Duty Truck while it was parked in a lot in the 1100 block of Briarbrook Drive between Sept. 8 and Sept. 9.
Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to contact the Wheaton Police Department at 630-260-2161.
