Chicago Cossacks to Perform at Wheaton Public Library

The Chicago Cossacks will perform traditional Russian music and dance at the Wheaton Public Library on Sunday, January 11 at 2pm.

The Chicago Cossacks will be at the Wheaton Public Library on Sunday, January 11 at 2:00 pm to perform Russian, Ukrainian, and Russian Gypsy traditional songs, dances, and tunes. The Chicago Cossack members will also have traditional costumes and instruments.

The band plays traditional Russian musical instruments such as domra (mandolin), balalaika and bayan (button accordion). All musicians have received formal music degrees in the former Soviet Union.

Pick up your free tickets at the Checkout Desk or call 630-868-7510 to reserve tickets. This program is part of the Sunday Sampler concert series sponsored by the Friends of the Wheaton Public Library.
