FINAL UPDATE - 9:45 P.M.: The investigation into a suspicious package near President & Crescent has been resolved, and Wheaton Police are in the process of reopening this intersection. Police are finishing their investigation and police presence will be dwindling down shortly. Thank you for your patience. 

UPDATE: 9:36 P.M. - Police are continuing their investigation. Residents in the area of President & Crescent may hear a loud bang in the coming minutes, but do not be alarmed. This situation is contained and is related to a suspicious package. There is no immediate threat in this area, but Wheaton Police ask that residents stay clear of the area to allow them to continue the investigation.

ORIGINAL POST: The Wheaton Police Department is currently in the area of President & Crescent investigating an incident.
