City Of Wheaton: Scott Street To Close For Sanitary Sewer Work

Scott Street will be closed to through traffic from Front Street to Seminary Avenue beginning Monday, Nov. 1. This closure is expected to last approximately 1 week.

Construction crews with the City’s contractor, Swallow Construction, will be replacing a sewer main that is near the end of its useful life as part of the City’s Sanitary Sewer Capacity Assurance Plan. Short-term detours will be in place during construction with Scott Street opening to traffic after 4 p.m. each day.
