City Of Wheaton: Temporary Parking Restrictions During Pavement Milling

Please note temporary parking restrictions happening today (Tuesday, Aug. 31) on Wheaton Avenue from Wesley Street to the railroad tracks and Wesley Street from Wheaton Avenue to West Street while crews for the Downtown Streetscape Project complete pavement milling on these streets. One lane of traffic will be open throughout this process, and crews are working to restore parking as soon as possible as they complete work on one block and move to the other. Parking is available in the City Hall lot and at the Wheaton Place garage during this work. 

Crews will be placing the base layer of new asphalt on Friday, pending unforeseen circumstances. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve downtown Wheaton infrastructure.
