City Of Wheaton: Wheaton Police Arrest Suspect For Burglary To School

On November 11, 2021, Wheaton Police Officers responded to Carrier of Light Islamic School in the 1600 block of Taft for a report of a burglary that had occurred at the school.

Wheaton Police Officers investigated the case and identified Dylan Sparks as a suspect. He was subsequently charged with felony burglary to a school. Officers were able to recover proceeds from the burglary during the investigation. 

"The alleged actions of Mr. Sparks are certainly not acceptable, and he will be held accountable," Wheaton Deputy Police Chief Robert Miller said. "I commend our officers for their excellent work in this investigation."
