Cosley Zoo To Expand With Rivers Exhibit, Forest Biomes And More
Wheaton's Cosley Zoo just announced a plan for "A New Cosley Zoo," a long-term vision of how the zoo will develop in the future.
WHEATON, IL —
At the Cosley Zoo Uncorked Event on Thursday, July 20, guests were celebrating more than just an evening sipping wine with friends. 400 guests were part of a champagne toast kicking off the zoo’s master plan. Titled, A New Cosley Zoo, the master plan will be implemented over the next 10 to 20 years.
“While we are very proud of the memories we have created and what we have accomplished the past 43 years, we are extraordinarily excited to look forward to this bold new vision for our future. A future that will enhance the experience for our guests and enable us to put a greater emphasis on our conservation and animal welfare initiatives. The “New Cosley Zoo” will provide opportunities for us to create more meaningful connections between people and animals which will inspire the lifelong conservation of our natural world”, said Sue Wahlgren, Director of Cosley Zoo.
