COVID-19 Vaccines For Kids 6 Months And Older Available In DuPage Co.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) is now offering coronavirus vaccines for children between the ages of six months and five years old. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) authorized and recommended COVID-19 vaccines for this age group, effective June 21.

Parents can make an appointment for their child to receive the Pfizer vaccine at the county's public health center located at 111 N County Farm Rd., Wheaton. These appointments became available June 29.

As of July 1, more than 82 percent of DuPage County residents who are five years old or older have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus.
