Domestic Battery Suspect Believed To Have Left Area: Wheaton PD
Police were looking for a suspect near 22nd Street and Briarcliffle Boulevard Monday afternoon.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police say a domestic battery suspect they were trying to locate near 22nd Street and Briarcliffle Boulevard Monday afternoon was believed to have left the area as of 3:30 p.m. Around 3 p.m., police initially said the man had fled on foot while carrying a 1-year-old child who was in diapers.
The suspect was described as a Black male, around 26 years old, roughly 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 230 pounds. Police say the man has long black dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with light-colored pants or jeans.
Police do not believe there is a threat to the public. If you think you have seen the suspect, police urge you not to approach him and to call 911.
