DuPage Co. Arrests: Drug, DUI Arrests; Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid Crash

The following arrests were made by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office in recent days:

• Marcin Kulesza, 32, from Bensenville, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. on August 20th for Driving Under the Influence.
• Gregorio Dy, 72, from Wheaton, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. on August 20th for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Accident and Following Too Closely.
• Jonathan Engling, 28, from Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 12:00 a.m. on August 21st at IL 53 & Butterfield Rd. in Glen Ellyn for Suspended or Revoked Driver’s License and Possession of Cannabis
• Patrick Grant, 48, from Wooddale, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. on August 21st at Geneva & Western. in Glen Ellyn for Driving Under the Influence.
• Vanessa Anaya, 25, from Joliet, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on August 18th at North & Alexander Way Carol Stream for Possession of Cannabis.
• Leonel Gonzalez-Vargas, 41, from Carol Stream, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on August 17th for Failure to Appear Warrant.
• Abdullah Alghamdi, 25, from Elmhurst, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. on August 19th for No Driver’s License & Improper Turn at Intersection.
• Brandon Anderson, 30, from Lisle, was arrested at 1:00 a.m. on August 19th for Driving Under the Influence and Domestic Battery.
• Lester Sarby, 29, from Carpentersville, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. on August 20th at North Ave & Bloomingdale Rd. in Glendale Heights for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
