The DuPage County Sheriff's Office will be increasing patrols to ensure proper car seat usage during Child Passenger Safety Week.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office will be ramping up patrols to ensure proper car seat usage and other child safety measures during Child Passenger Safety Week, which runs Sept. 18 through Sept. 24.
“One of the simplest things we can do to help secure our children’s future is to check that they
are in the right car seat for their age and size,” Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Justin Kmitch said in a news release.
Kmitch added, “We encourage you to have your car seats checked. Make certain they are installed correctly and kids are properly buckled in the right seat before you drive.”
