DuPage County Reports 275 Coronavirus Cases, 7 Deaths
These are DuPage County's coronavirus numbers as of Sunday.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — As of Sunday, DuPage County reports that it has 275 confirmed cases of new coronavirus and seven deaths. The new numbers include 71 additional cases since Saturday, according to the DuPage County Health Department.
Health department officials say the most recent death was a man in his 60s who did not have any underlying medical conditions. They add that he had been living "in the community."
At press time, all seven coronavirus deaths in DuPage county were patients who are older than 60 years of age, according to the health department. The news comes as the state has reports that an infant died of coronavirus.

DuPage County Health Department officials reminded residents " that nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other long-term care facilities have the highest risk populations due to their age and underlying medical conditions." They also discourage testing if you are mildly ill or "not sick at all."
"If you are sick, please stay home except to get medical care," they said.

How People Are Helping In DuPage County
Throughout DuPage County, residents and organizations are going above and beyond to help the fight against coronavirus, whether it's donating food to local food pantries, masks to medical staff or money to help fund charity efforts. To date, the DuPage Foundation has raised over $300,000 to donate to non-profits and other parties to give aid during the coronavirus shutdown.
In Naperville and surrounding communities, Men in Black Pest Control, has donated masks and food, in addition to volunteering time to run errands for local senior citizens. Meanwhile, local toy store owners are doing online story time to help lift the community's spirits.
In the Wheaton and Warrenville area, District 200 is offering free lunches and has started a food insecurity crisis fund to help students.
