DuPage County's Sex Offender Registry Coordinator Honored
Kristen Jordan was recognized for her "impeccable" work managing the county's sex offender registry.

WHEATON, IL — DuPage County's sex offender registration coordinator recently received national recognition for her work handling the county's database of sex offenders. Kristen Jordan, who manages the database, was honored by OffenderWatch, a nationwide network and the largest sex offender registry in the U.S.
Jordan, who also works as an administrative assistant for DuPage County's Forensics Investigations Unit, works with patrol deputies from the DuPage County Sheriff's Sexual Predator Enforcement and Registration (SPEAR) Unit to make sure information about the whereabouts of sex offenders is up to date.
In a statement, DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick said Jordan's attention to detail and dedication to her work helps her carry out her duties "impeccably."

Mendrick said, "Kristen’s work ethic and attention to detail are impeccable and we are extremely fortunate to have a person of her caliber coordinating this program, as well as all of the other duties she fulfills."
