Book Study

The Wade Center at Wheaton College offers a Monday evening book study February 7, 14, 21 and 28, from 7:00–8:30 p.m.

Dr. Christopher Mitchell, Director of the Marion E. Wade Center, will lead readers through George MacDonald’s fairy tale novel The Wise Woman. This story of two spoiled little girls who are taken from their families to go through a series of life-changing adventures demonstrates MacDonald’s characteristic wit, originality, and spiritual insight. Though The Wise Woman is a suitable read for all ages, the reading group will be directed at a level accessible to young adults and older.

Free and open to the public, the study takes place in The Wade Center, located at 351 E. Lincoln Avenue in Wheaton (campus map).
