Chamber of Commerce Ice Cream Social

All families are invited for some “end of summer fun!” Families can enjoy ice cream, face painting, and other activities. Please note that this Ice Cream Social is brought to you by the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and does NOT replace the Whittier School Ice Cream Social.

For most children, the beginning of a new school year means new clothes, new shoes or a new backpack filled with fresh supplies. But for many other disadvantaged kids in District 200, it means beginning the school year without the necessary items most of us take for granted. Nearly 25 percent of District 200 families find it difficult to provide a backpack and school supplies for their children. Donate supplies and/or attend the ice cream social to help disadvantaged families.
