Chicagoland Buddy Walk - Down syndrome awareness

This once a year event raises funds and awareness for Down syndrome. Down syndrome is a genetic condition that occurs in 1 out of every 691 live births. It affects more than 400,000 people in the United States alone.

Not only do we have a beautiful walk through the Cantigny grounds, we also have many other family activities to enjoy throughout the day including face painting, jumps, crafts, live music and more!

The funds that are raised are donated to the National Down Syndrome Socitey and to local Down syndrome support groups.
