Esprit, Wheaton Warrenville South High School's all-girls show choir, will hold its annual car wash on Saturday, August 20 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Fox Bowl (1101 Butterfiled Road; Wheaton). For a $5 donation the choir members will wash and dry cars. Comprised of 46 girls in grades 9 through 12, Esprit performs in the community and competes during the school year. Esprit is a 501C3 non-profit club that is not financially sponsored by District 200. Funding is provided through club fees and fundraising efforts such as the choir’s annual car wash. All proceeds from the carwash will cover costumes, musical arrangements, travel, and other costs associated with the group's 2011/2012 season.
