The festivities will include a resident craft sale, bake sale, raffle and silent auction, kid’s games, book fair, craft and flea market vendors, scarecrow patch, car show, garage sale, mum sale, food and entertainment. In addition, new for 2011, a petting zoo with 35 farm animals sponsored by Salerno’s Rosedale and Galewood Chapels and free train rides with “Little Obie,” courtesy of Illinois Central Railroad Company.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the DuPage Convalescent Center Foundation and Resident Recreation Fund, which provides quality of life programs and services to Center residents.
