The Friends Fur-Ever Festival is being held in conjunction with the DuPage Convalescent Center's annual fall festival. Events will include a throwing clinic put on the Chicago Rush Arena Football League team and an appearance by the Adrenaline Rush dance team; a 1-mile dog walk; multiple rescue and shelter facilities offering dogs, cats and other small animals for adoption; dozens of pet-related product and service providers; a prize raffle, dog obedience and agility demonstrations; a microchip clinic, an open house at the DuPage County Animal Care and Control facility, food, a bake sale, a craft sale and games.
