Houdini, His Life and His Legend

You’ll meet the astonishing Harry Houdini at this year’s Friends of the Library Annual Meeting which is Thursday, May 12 at 7 pm. After a very brief business meeting and election of officers, William Pack’s interactive show Houdini, His Life & His Legend promises to bring the most famous name in magic to life. You’ll learn about Houdini’s triumphs in Chicago, hear the only known recording of Houdini’s voice, learn the Houdini rope escape and even try on an authentic strait jacket. Pack even performs some of Houdini’s tricks in this fun and informative program. The Annual Meeting and Houdini program is open to everyone.
