Infantry Topic of Talk

Author and military historian John C. McManus will discuss his latest book, "GRUNTS: Inside the American Infantry Combat Experience, World War II Through Iraq." McManus is associate professor of U.S. military history at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla.  He teaches courses on the Civil War, World War II, Vietnam, Military History and the American combat experience in the 20^th Century. A book signing will follow the presentation. The event is part of the First Division Museum’s A Date with History series.
