
Murali Rao, MD, Loyola University Health System psychiatrist and addictions expert, will be available to answer questions about alcoholism following a showing of the movie Flight at the Wheaton Studio Movie Grill. Michael Gill, MD, director of the Loyola Center for Health at Wheaton also will be on hand to answer questions.
Flight is a fictional story revealing a real-life struggle for many people, alcohol addiction. It shows how an addiction becomes so consuming that everything else in a person’s life suffers to feed it.
"These times when we come together as a community to discuss real health topics impacting our lives is amazing. At every event there is someone who spontaneously stands up and shares their own life experience with the topic in front of a group of strangers and adds such an incredible human dimension," Gill said.

Loyola University Health System and Studio Movie Grill Wheaton have partnered to offer a special monthly film series. On the first Thursday of each month admission is free to a Studio Movie Grill screening of a movie with a health topic. Loyola University Health System provides a panel of experts to answer questions following the film.
