Talk Topic: Polish Forces in Afghanistan

Col. Michael Haerr of the Illinois Army National Guard will present “The Polish Armed Forces in the International Security Assistance Force Mission in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.” Haerr, of Eureka, Ill., recently served 10 months as the deputy commander of Polish Task Force White Eagle in Afghanistan. A traveling photo exhibit, translated into English, Polish and French, will also be unveiled.  It was prepared by the Polish Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The exhibit will be on display at the First Division Museum through Dec. 18.
