The Wheaton Park District will host a Fall Carnival Friday, September 30, 2011 through Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Community Center parking lot, located at 1777 S. Blanchard Road in Wheaton. Hours of the Carnival are as follows: September 30, 4-10:30pm; October 1, noon-10:30pm; October 2, 1-8pm. A special wristband offer will be available on Saturday, October 1 from noon-4pm. Wristbands purchased on October 1 will cost $15. Wristbands may also be pre-purchased September 1 through September 28 at the Community Center for $12. A portion of all carnival proceeds will benefit the Wheaton Park District Leisureship Program, a scholarship program that provides recreation programming for those experiencing financial hardship. The event will include carnival rides, concessions, games and a chance to win prizes. Also, on Saturday, October 1, from 1-2:30pm, the Radio Disney Road Crew will stop by the carnival. The group will provide music, fun, prizes and a chance to win a Radio Disney prize pack including a Radio Disney T-Shirt, autographs from Disney Channel Stars and more! The Radio Disney Road Crew is sponsored by Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet.
