The Burning Bush Gallery is proud to present its latest show: Via Dolorosa. Over the centuries, observing the Stations of the Cross is a ritual shared by many Christians during Holy Week. Greg Schreck, professor of art at Wheaton College, provides a unique perspective of this sacred journey via a series of powerful black-and-white photos. Unexpected images and non-conventional portrayals of Christ in his final days combine for a gripping exhibit that moves the spirit and challenges our concepts.
Join the church and the artist for the Artist's Reception on Sunday, April 1st from 1 to 3pm. There also will be a Stations of the Cross worship service, noon on Good Friday in the chapel of Gary United Methodist Church.
The Burning Bush Gallery is a ministry of the Gary United Methodist Church, offering art exhibits, music and other creative forms of spiritual expression.
