Synopsis:

Lysander loves Hermia, and Hermia loves Lysander. Helena loves Demetrius; Demetrius used to love Helena but now loves Hermia. The mother doesn’t like Lysander, she likes Demetrius. Oberon likes Titania, and Titania likes a donkey. Puck loves to make mischief, the fairies love love, and the rustics from the town just want to perform their play. All this happens as Shakespeare proves “the course of true love never did run smooth!”
